Thorium Molten Salt Reactor

A Thorium Molten Salt Reactor (liquid fluoride thorium reactor) is a type of thermal breeder reactor. LFTRs use the thorium fuel cycle with a fluoride-based, molten, liquid salt for fuel. It can achieve high operating temperatures at atmospheric pressure.
