Mitochondria

Mitochondria are the "powerhouses" of each and every cell in our body. Organs which use a lot of energy such as our brain and heart are most susceptible to oxidative stress due to this reason since the mitochondria create a lot of reactive oxygen species as a byproduct of normal metabolism.
