Collective Intelligence

Collective intelligence is a shared or group intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and competition of many individuals.

The collective intelligence of a group of individuals isn't always greater than the intelligence of the individuals, but a combination of good tools and compatable individuals should hopefully go a long way towards good results.
